alcohol and schools

Alcohol is especially harmful to teenagers as their organs have not developed enough to its combat the harmful effects. Binge drinking can become literally deadly dangerous and teenagers today can be ignorant of the consequences of such irresponsible drinking.

The government is encouraging 24 hour drinking and at the same time laying the responsibility of educating the risks of it to young adults, firmly at the door of schools, expecting them to produce a solid programme within their P.S.H.E. schedule for Alcohol Abuse and Prevention.

Fresh Knowledge has an established reputation within the educational sector for producing and facilitating workshops and lectures educating and advising young students from Year 7 upwards; providing a solid understanding of the dangers and repercussions of alcohol abuse.

This can be done in small groups of 30 or less, where the students are actively involved in demonstrations and discussions, or it can be facilitated on a lecture style basis.  All presentations are tailor-made to the individual requirements of the school, taking into account the age of the students, size of group and time available.
