Fresh Knowledge works with clients to develop alcohol and drugs policies and help establish a good working practice for alcohol related issues.

Alcohol abuse impacts on health and safety and productivity levels. The challenge is for employers to identify the problems and to have alcohol firmly placed within the Health & Safety Policy. In many cases, employees will not understand or acknowledge they have an alcohol abuse problem. All employers have a legal requirement to ensure the health and safety of employees, as laid out in the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

To complement the alcohol policy and ensure it is understood fully by all employees, Fresh Knowledge provide workshops and presentations on alcohol and the problems it can cause in work and personal life. Frequently, it is the people who only drink at the week-ends out of working hours, who cause the biggest problems for their employers in working hours.
